Living in the Time of Wolves was a totally readable and engrossing gothic novel. The characters were believable and the military battle plans were historically based. I loved the author's use of texts in both French and Latin. The most interesting chapters were the descriptions of the life and death due to the plague. This is a book to recommend to readers interested in gothic history, and the medical and military events of that era.Product details

Living in the Time of Wolves Edward Zapata 9780985611606 Books Reviews
Good story, well written and seemed well researched. I like stories of this period and this one met my expectations.
Seems to be a very well researched historical fiction. The characters were easy to get invested in and it kept you wanting to turn the page.
This British historical novel took me from an amazing journey through the 1300’s in Great Britain and intertwined incredible challenges in search of concrete family history in Medieval Constantinople. It was one adventure after the other! The main characters, Trevor and Toshi are passionate and steadfast of their purpose in life. So much so, that I was on needles & pins waiting their every move!! There is terror from the epidemic Black Evil of the time and passion stirring in relationships. Very worthwhile and I wouldn’t mind reading it again!!!
